"For Things to Change, I Have to Change"

As the Jim Rohn quote goes: "If you change things will change for you;" but what does "change" really mean?

Change has become this buzz-word that motivational speakers love to say. It was a certain President's entire campaign motto. It's also what homeless people thrive off of.

What exactly constitutes change? Does that mean if I want to change I just go get a haircut or change clothes? Or is change deeper than that?

Change can also seem like this huge daunting scary and frightening monster task and "gee whiz if I change that means I won't stay the same" hey guess what this is true too!

Change doesn't have to be drastic. Change can be tiny, so seemingly insignificant that we hardly even notice it until it amounts to something very noticable.

Many of us worry about change...yet change can happen so fast we don't even have time to react. One moment we're with a loved one the next moment they're gone.

This may be a morbid thought but it leads us to believe that maybe change isn't something to be afraid of; perhaps change should be embraced with open arms and accepted that everything changes eventually and our only choice we have is to adjust accordingly.

Some people choose to change their lives for the better. I was on set last week with a man that had lost 180 pounds. His before and after pictures were incredible; he was a completely different person!

Many people believe change is bad. I've adopted the notion that since change is inevitable, not only is change good, in the long run, change is for the best.

Change happens whether we like it or not; either we choose to change or we let change happen...which would you prefer?

What are you looking to change in your life? Finances? Health? Relationships? I'm looking to change all three! Who's gonna change with me!?

Wishing you the best in success,

Tremain
